Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
I am telling you.....MAKE THIS! It is a really good, moist, flavorful bread. It is really like a dessert, but we will pretend it is a breakfast food...so I can devour it in the morning. :)
** You are supposed to use Walnuts...but I am not a nut fan. I didn't put nuts in mine. I also used 2 ripe bananas and wisked them up first. :)

I went to check on the chicken in the crockpot after about 2 hours. NOT HOT at ALL! Grrr. I could not get the crockpot to work, so I had to call upon good ol' Grandma to lend me her crockpot. I will telll you.....

Sausage, Cabbage, and Bowtie
This is such an easy, yummy recipe! Here are the details:
1 head of cabbage, shredded
1 Smoked Sausage, sliced up
1 box of bowtie pasta (cooked)
2 cloves of garlic, pressed
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup butter
Salt and Pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan for topping
Directions
Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the bow tie pasta and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the garlic, olive oil, and cabbage; season with salt and pepper; cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in the sausage and bow tie pasta; cook until completely heated, about 5 minutes more. Top with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
This is what your family will look like after eating your delicious meal:

Liam? Not so much....just kidding. He ate it up! He thought the smoked sausage was a hotdog. :) |
