Sunflower-Ladybug Cake

Baking has been so much fun! I decided to see what would happen if I took my sunflower cupcake design and do a cake the same way. It turned out great I think. I was really happy! Here it is!

 So the center of the sunflowers are Oreo's (one half of the Oreo). The icing was the fun part. I used the V-CUT Wilton icing tip and a coupler. I used half orange, half yellow icing to make the petals. The ladybugs are red m&m's with the detailing in dark chocolate wafers. 

 

Cupcake Queen....

I have always loved to make intricate, cute desserts. At Christmas I make chocolate covered mice....things like that. I am going to really try and make neat cupcakes. (I sound like someone that has nothing to do.) I need my outlets and baking/crafts is that for me. :) So...I am going to start making different cupcakes. I just bought the book Hello Cupcake! and my goal is to make a new type of cupcake every week or so, then post it on my blog for all of you to see! Maybe I will get so good at it that people can take orders for parties and such! haha. Well.....here's to being a baker! I love trying new things. Wish me luck!

Learning how to blog.....

Nothing is harder than childbirth......

I thought. 

Learning how to create and navigate a blog has been harder than giving birth to Noah with no drugs. hahaha! I am trying to get the hang of it. If anyone has any advice on how/what I can do better on here, please let me know.
